I have just bought a set of 652.5i speakers for my 1998 Camaro these are to replace the mid speakers but when I wired them up with the crossover the only thing that they do is buzz Was I sold some defunk speakers or what? I have a set of 42.5i's in the sails and stock in the doors I have a set of 652.5i for the doors but don't want to take the doors apart just to find out that they will not work as well. Do I have bad wireing or bad speakers?

what do you mean by mid dpeakers, and what do you consider sail speakers?
the sail panels, or B pillars, are normally considered the 6.75 speakere behind your head, and are a "low range speaker" the highs are cut off on these if you have the monsoon system. Since your saying they're buzzing, which sounds like what they would do if plugged into the factory system.
The trunk ones are 4" and that sounds like what you called the sail panels. 42.5i, (guessing by number, that its a 4" speaker)

Yes I got confused on the sail thing. I'm trying to set up a infinty system no more stock. there are 652.5is in the "sails" and 42.4i in the trunk. and I have another set of 652.5i's for the doors. All coming of the stock head unit.
