I am planning to purchase MB quart component speakers. The number is PSD-213. They are going in the front of my firebird. I also plan to buy a rockford fosgate amp to power these. THE range on the speakers is 40-100 watts and I am wondering what size amp I should get. I also have 2 MTX Thunder 800s powered by a 200x2 in the car. I don't know if this matters but I'll tell you anyway. Well thanks for any help

MB Quart rates their speakers pretty accurately. As with any speaker, you'll dammage it with poor signal before you'll kill it with watts.
I would find an amp rated between 150 and 200 watts. There's no reason to spend big bucks on extra power that won't be used. (Please don't flame me with stuff about sensitivity and overhead, when you're talking tweets and mids, the mass isn't there, and the door mounting location kills any chance of a flat system anyway)
If it were me, I would look into another brand of amplifier. If you're going to spend Rockford kind of money, you can get a JL, PPI or SoundStream amplifier that will do a much better job of cleaning up your front stage.
I've never really been a fan of Rockford stuff though, so don't take my word as the gospel. I have been VERY impressed with the PPI amplifiers. If you have the room, that's the way I would go. (They tend to be a little bulky)
A surprising find for me was the Alpine V12 series of amplifiers. Talk about clean! If you've got the bucks I would consider them as well.
