Does anyone know the mounting depth of it and if an eD10A can fit in one of those? The magnets on that are HUGE and can't fit in a different stealthbox I bought.

the subthump driver side box. The magnet doesn't fit inside the cylinder of the box.Eclipse 8443, CDT ES-620s in doors (Clarion APX401.2), IEK, CDT 6X in rear(HU), Image Dynamics ID10v.3D.4 in stealthbox(Clarion DPX1001.2)
http://www.sounddomain.com/id/larryfirebird33
borla cat-back, FTRA, whisper lid

what box will fit a 10W7?
i don't think the standard subthump, or jl one will.
I have done that install, in a custom subthump box, but i didn't think it was possible in any standard box.

i think your right, its only the passenger side stealth. but if you can do it in a custom box why cant you fit it in a subthump box?

Larry your talking about the fiberglassed vantage box right? Well Carl over at fbodyaudio put a 12w6v2 in a drivers side fiberglassed stealth and it has just as big of a magnet and a lot bigger mounting depth.

Well Larry I searched it out for you and I came uup with someone that has that setup so you should be fine. Here is their setup....
I'm hoping I don't have that bad of a stereo Here is my current equipment:
Alpine CDA-D857 (1.5 DIN)
CDT Prof HD-642 3 Way components
CDT 5's for rear fill (powered by deck)
JL 300/2 - Powering CDT Components (one channel running the left side and the other running the right side)
JL 500/1 - Powering ED 10 in a vantage JL Drivers Side Box
I plan on puting the 4" and Tweets in the kicks and the 6 1/2's in the Door. Do you see any place for improvement with my current setup? I'm trying to come up with a nice sounding system....nothing\'93 Red 3.4L Camaro
Engine: Jet II, Pacesetters, K&N FIPK, Accel Wires, Iridium Plugs, Flowmaster, ASP U/D, 180 Thermo, much more...

\'98 Z28 Vert Triple Black A4 Stock for now
34000 Miles

Not enough room in the sig for my stereo.

That being said, does anyone know where to get the best price of a JL vantage box? I've done a decent amount of searching and haven't really found much yet.
Thanx guys.Eclipse 8443, CDT ES-620s in doors (Clarion APX401.2), IEK, CDT 6X in rear(HU), Image Dynamics ID10v.3D.4 in stealthbox(Clarion DPX1001.2)
http://www.sounddomain.com/id/larryfirebird33
borla cat-back, FTRA, whisper lid

Thanx guys.\"Well, we don\'t care how bad-*** some dude\'s N/A Honda S2000 motor is; if you go up against 900+ pushrod ponies and 750 pounds of earth-shaking torque with a wrong-wheel-drive econobox, you\'re gonna get a fast and furious old-school ***-whipping.\"

JL audio no longer makes the vantage box in 2004, they only make the stealth box. The vantage box is made of a plastic, kindof like the MTX one, but it's a lot stronger and stiffer, the MTX ones are known as thunderflex because they flew so much. The stealth box is the fiberglass one, and it comes pre-loaded with a 10w3d4, but on ebay and other places you can once in a while find an empty one for say. Another thing to think about is what is the smallest recommended sealed box volume for that sub, the stealth box is only .6 cu.ft. Good luck with everthing, hope this all helped some98 White T-Top Firebird
w/ the crome 5 star rims
FRA, Smoothed stock lid,
Dynomax Super Turbo Exhaust
http://www.cardomain.com/member_pages/view_page.pl?page_id=346111
