my friends putting two infinity perfects in his car and now its time to choose an amp. So heres the question he wants to put about 1200 watts in to them both should he use a 1200x1 or a 2400x1

what im asking is he wants to run them at 1200w peak, he thinks that he only needs 1200w peak amp,i think he needs 2400w peak because hes has two subs. so what it boils down to is who is right?1998 green camaro, bear rotors.<br />It\'s not how much money you have, It\'s how many toys you have.

Very good advice 311, never look at peak rating for amps. Peak ratings is what the amp could put out if the car was hit by a lightning bolt :D

I'm running two 12" Perfects with a JBL 600.1 and they pound pretty hard.
