    hey i wasnt sure what to search under so maybe somebody could help me. the display on my factory indash cd goes schizzo every now and again. it will read crazy numbers or no numbers in place of the radio station. anybody see this before??

    Yep, the stereo is crapped. It isn't worth fixing. You can live with it, or get a new/used one from a salvage yard or E-bay.

    http://www.speedautomotive.com has used parts.
    http://www.tacreationsusa.com/ also has used parts.
    http://www.billygrahamsfirebird.com/ is another site with used parts.

    Also, there is a guy in www.camaroz28.com that sells a lot of F-body parts. He may be able to hook you up with one for cheap

      wasnt what i really wanted to hear but thanx for the links
      i dont know much about pontiac stereo so if i was to get an aftermarket cd would the factory amps still work?

          You need a special adapter.

          The above should work for a 90-97 Camaro or Firebird with Bose.
