Turned on the stereo and the sub wasn't working so I looked under my hood and saw that my amp fuse was blown. I replaced the fuse, turned the key and it blew out again. Tried it several times and got a blown fuse everytime....any ideas what I can check?

Wait stop putting in new fuses you probobly have a short in the wiring or you have an underrated fuse. More details please (watts, size of fuse, how many amps)

The stereo is not new, I have had it for several years.
ROckford fosgate 250 watt amp
30 watt fuse under the hood is what keeps blowing out
Fuse blows even with volume down. The instant the key is turned it blows. I took the sub out to go to the track and when I put it back in I started having this problem. I am guessing maybe a wire problem sounds right. Maybe a wire got smashed when I put it back in.1997 Supercharged Firebird<br />14.01@99.7mph 2.1 60ft.
