HaHa I know that. What I mean is do you use two + and two - wires comming off the same terminal going to their respective subs or do you like take the second set of wires and wire them from the first subto the second.

If your wiring them in a series you take a + from one terminal and a - from the other terminal, er vice versa, then wire from one sub to the the next...

I have a 6 channel amp.
On my amp, there is a switch for channels 1-2 and 3-4 where you can switch from regular use or to bridge the 2 channels together.
You put it in the positive in channel one, negative in channel 2, and it sounds great

I think you can also put them both positive...

Ok what exactly are you trying to do here? Waht kind of amp do you have? Is it two channel or 4 channel? What impedence are your subs (ohms)? SVC or DVC (voice coils)? Bridging amps vary with what kind of amp you have. Your manual should tell you what to do with your specific amp.

Honestly I don't know. It is a 2 channel 760W Pioneer amp with 2 800W 12" Sony explod subs.

As for the subs, try and find them on ebay and give me the link. From there I can assist you on the best wiring application.

I'm pretty sure all sony xplodes are 4 Ohm SVC drivers. He probably needs a wiring schematic like this.

After andrew gets his specs together, we can be a lot more helpful.

The amp model is GM-X862 however the manual came with instructions for this and the 962 so I am assuming they are pretty much the same. The subs are XS-L1235 and everything written on the included paper says 4 Ohm's. As you probably can tell I know just enough about this stuff to be dangerous so any help would be much appreciated.

1101 has the perfect diagram for you. Just wire the subs paralell into a two ohm load and you should be fine. There are four speaker terminals on your amp, a positive and negative which have a connecting line under them saying "bridge", connect both of the positive terminals from your subs into the one positive terminal. Repeat the same process with negative. If this is confusing, then just let me know and I will try and clear it up for you.

I get the wiring but don't know what a two Ohm load is. So the I should wire it like the first thing I said.(do you use two + and two - wires coming off the same terminal going to their respective subs).
