In my room I have a Sparp 100W radio. A few months ago one of the channels quit working. I went around that by tying both speakers into the channel that would. Now when I went to turn it on last night it displays "protect" on the little screen. Can someone tell me what is going on and if I will need to get a new radio?

But it played like that for months. Maby it was those 2 10" ported subs I found at Wal-Mart that I spliced into it. Protected could mean either a short or like dmiller said. The other channel is probably just fried.
