I have an amp and a sub I want to install, however, I have the Monsoon Head Unit, in order to run speaker level inputs to the amp (actually I am using a speaker level to RCA adapter, since my amp only accepts RCA inputs) which wires do I splice to get the signal? If I do this, will the stereo or factory amp not work? I have researched this topic, hard to find exactly what i am looking for or a similar situation.

tap in to the rear speaker outputs. Actually, scratch that. If you're adding an amplifier for your subs only, I'd suggest tapping in to the wires for the b-pillar "subs". You can tap in to them right at the factory amp so you won't even have to work with running wires all over the place. Sorry, I don't remember the colors. The reason to use that instead of the all the way rear speakers is that (I'm not sure on this by the way) the rear speakers might have some sort of cross over eliminating the bass from reaching those speakers. I could be wrong on that, I just removed the whole stock system so I'm not overly smart when it comes to all ins and outs of the monsoon amp.Mike
\'99 Z28 LS1 (383 in the works) M6
stereo pics Almost sold, the amps are still for sale - make an offer.
Help Mike pay for his engine.
