I actually still have my first system, i bought everything about a year ago, i have a kenwood mp-822 mp3 head unit, 2 kenwood 12 inch subs in a Q-logic sealed box, powered by 2000 watt BOSS amp. i NEVER go with off brands but the signal to noise rating on the boss was 103db! so it obviously works fine. i also have blaupunkt components in the front with blaupunkt 2-ways in the back. power is supplyed by an optimus gel-cell monstercables, and a 1 farad lightning audio capaciter. im thinking of staring over though.

My '68 Mustang had a Sherwood(not Kenwood) pullout( no detachable face) and 2 Jensen 3-ways in the back window that I had bought from (yup) K-mart.
