so i got my whole system setup today.....that being a custom box. turn the car on and my amp power light is not on and the obviously the sub wont bump. i left all the connections to the amp ther when i took the old sub out....i just dont get it. maybe playing my stereo with the amp rnning with no sub connected to it messed it up?? any ideas? i have a sony xplode amp 480w

check all your wires for shorts, and all your fuses to see if anything is blown. just check over everything starting at the battery, to the ground wires, amp connections, everything.
also, try taking the amp out and putting it in a friends car who has a system set up to see if its a problem with your amp.Dave:
