Line level adaptor

can someone get me a link or tell me how to hook this up to my head unit....in the process of installing the amp and wiring kit....I ve read the mod guide and it doesnt give specific detailed instructions.....Thanks

There should be 4-wires to hook up on the 'line level adaptor.' (+) and (-) for the Left Speaker Input, (+) and (-) for the Right Speaker Input. Depending on the kind of adaptor you have, sometimes there's a power and ground wire to hook up as well.

Do you have the Monsoon system? If you don't have the monsoon system, you can tap into the factory speaker wires located where the rear speakers are (On the sides where the rear passengers sit). Look for these wires:
(Left Rear +) Brown
(Left Rear -) Yellow

(Right Rear +) Dark Blue
(Right Rear -) Light Blue


If you do have the Monsoon system, the color codes I just gave you will be different. I would recommend tapping into the factory speaker wires located behind the factory headunit only, not at the speakers. On the wiring harness located behind the factory stereo, tap into these wires:

(Left Rear +) Brown
(Left Rear -) Yellow

(Right Rear +) Dark Blue
(Right Rear -) Light Blue
