Just want to warn you man, watch out with the blue bulbs on the license plate, they're illegal (at least where I live).

      Should look nice though.

I had red on mine and no cops ever herassed me about it. If you go to autozone or advance auto parts they can look up stuff like that. Like Nikon said it's 194.

Illegal 'round deez parts as well. Red isin't illegal, but blue is. If you are just replacing that one single bulb, I doubt anyone will mess with you.

Like they said, you should be fine with that one bulb. I did it too and have never been given any trouble over it. The only time I've ever been pulled over for lighting was for 2 12" blue neon sticks attached to that flap that covers the trunk. It looked cool as hell, but wasn't worth a ticket.

wont be as bright...and why waste money...and red is illegal for plate lights....a white light is the only legal light...whether or not you get harrased for it is up to the po-po ;)

ok...you have what fact to back this up by?...a box saying so?...if you notice the way the liscence plate light works, it has to shine out the side it doesnt use the top of the bulb to project onto the plate...LED's (unless otherwise noted) normally on shine the bulk of there light in the direction of the tip of the led...thus making the use of a regular clear bulb more effiecent, legal, and cheaper....any questions on this I would be happy to answer ;)

If you go to Pep Boys, they have a data base that you use in the light bulb section where you type on the year, make, model etc and it lists ALL of the lights on your car.
