REM wire hook up?

Im hooking up a amp in a friends car, 2000 camaro, where can i hook up the REM wire, which wire behind the head unit, or are there are wires i can use in the rear of the car.

Use the "Pink" wire behind the factory headunit.

there is no pink wire behind my deck

There is no wire in the camaro (no factory power antenna). You can insert a pin into the harness on the radio. Its the 3rd hole from the right on the top (looking at the back of the radio)... pin #8 as stated in that info above.

Yes, the Yellow wire will work too since its switched on/off with the key.

I knew that Camaro's don't come with power antennas but I thought the pink wire would atleast still be in the harness. :(

haha, you guys dont have a blue wire? are we talking about stock deck or aftermarket? because the blue wire is what you need, the blue wire is usually the power ant. wire.
