Yes, but you do realize that it does not play CD's or DVD's? It is just a screen basically....with connections to connect a CD or DVD changer.

yes, however, crutchfield says that it wont fit my car, but mysteriously, nonee of the lower end ones will on their site..... that is why im asking. (PS: if i get it, i will get a cdchanger aswell)

well i just checked the website, and you know how you have to select the type of car you own? well i did that and that Alpine unit says next to it, "this unit will not fit you vehicle"

You should really read this thread. They are talking about the 1003. I have no idea why Cructhfield says it will not fit..... i can't think of any reason. It's single din. And the f-bods have plenty of mounting depth....hmmmm....
