I am look at both the stealth box and milhouse box from subthump.com. And i was wonder if ppl had any good/bad reviews on both. I like the milhouse box cuz of the dual 10's but it looks WAY to easy to steal. All someone has to do is break the back glass and take it out BAM loss of like $800!! So i'm sorta forced to look at the stealth cuz of its cheapness and security. But i worried about the power that would come out of my 1 type R. I also was looking at custom but most places want near $600 boxes. If anyone has any expirence with either box any input would be helpful, thx.

I agree with 97. I've got a Milhouse with 2 Type R's, and it sounds great. Anytime you go somewhere you think it might get stolen, just pop the trunk and flip it down. Not to knock anyone who has done it, but getting stealth boxes for both sides just doesn't seem practical IMO. I agree with memphis I would like to keep my spare tire that why i never even thought about getting both stealth box's (even though i do have a canadian version of AAA). Does anyone here have just one stealth box? Or both, I would like to hear if ppl like them or if anyone even has any? ThxComment

Also a question for the milhouse box owners. It looked to me like the flap might not be strong enough, is it strong and solid? Has it ever flaped down/up when you have had to slam on your brakes/gas?Comment

I have one subthump 12" passenger side stealth box w/ a 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch HE2 Dual 4ohms. Powered by a Bazooka EL1500 Mono Block (500w@2ohms)... I have the bass boost set on +2dbs and this fuker pounds like a mofo even when the volume is 1/4. i get headaches i am very satisfied with just one stealth i was goin to fab me a fiberglass 12" driver side stealth but i like the amount of bass now and i want to focus more on performance mods now.Originally posted by cam97blk:

i have a milhouse but I don't have the subs yet. I can tell u that it is pretty heavy so when it's open to the car, I am confident it wouldn't be bouncing up and down. Yeah, it's built pretty solid overall, but light enough to still be effective. The shape of the flap is designed just like your stock cover so when it's back, it tucks into an indentation in the hatch lid and that keeps it held back. If you don't know if you'd be satisfied with a single 10 stealth, then maybe you could get hooked up with somebody local who has that setup and go listen to it. Then at least you'd know.Comment

My buddy had a driver's side box with a JL 10W0 in it. With only a couple hundred watts, this thing was poundin pretty good. So good in fact, I could say that it was MORE THEN enough for those "just wanting to add some low end to their music". It actually bumped VERY nicely. I was impressed. I'm sure if you went with the Alpine Type-R and 4-500WRMS you'd be even better off. [img]smile.gif[/img]Originally posted by cam97blk:
