loud sound

when my (stock)cd player gets turned off the sub makes a loud bass hit for like 3 seconds. its really strange any1 have any ideas?

this is a problem with lots of stereos for some reason the term slips my mine, however stinger makes somtheing to fix it, you hook it to your amp power i think, my friend has one

its called the Stinger Popstopper... they make 2 of them one for turn on pop and turn off pop
the one your looking for is called "SPSOFF"

It's called hard power off I believe or something like that. And I think your talking about that pop sound when you turn off your HU.
