my head unit has settings for bass, treble, and midbass. they all go from -8 to +8.
i know everyone says set it how it sounds good to me, but is there a general rule for setting the midbass? i have the treble at +8 and bass at -1 but everytime i mess with the midbass i can't find a setting i like. any suggestions?

My deck has all three settings, but they only run from -6 to +6. Generally, I run my mid's at about +3/+4. Try setting yours halfway up or so on the positive side, and see what it sounds like to you.

are you sure that a bass setting or is it an equalizer?
there is a pretty big difference

sorry, i meant to say mid instead of midbass. it's the settings in the head unit, no equalizer. treble mid and bass.
