Finally i have gotten all the eD stuff i wanted. i just got my last part, the nine.4. before that the edi 6000's and the edu 600 were draining the head unit for all the power they could get. i knew they could sound alot better witha lil more power. well i finally got it all in. all i gotta do now is make a top cover for the amps so it gives that sunk in look. it sounds absolutely amazing! heres what i got:
    fronts: edi 6000's
    back:edu 600
    subs:2 13kv.2's
    amp 1: nine.1
    amp 2: nine.4
    capacitor: 1.2 f
sound deadener: 100 sq ft edead v.1
    hu: pioneer p6600

i thought it sounded great before with just the subs, now it just takes my breath away(literally shakes it outta you). but the impressive part isnt how loud it goes, its how good it sounds when it gets loud. i got 146.5 db with just the subs and edu 600 in back. so hopefully ill be that much closer to 150 now. i listen to alot of rock and heavy stuff, like killswitch engage, in flames. the guitars now sound absolutely amazing and the double bass with the kv's rocks you. i will never buy any other equipment from anyone else. oh and the car is a 02 camaro.

    Looks very nice!

The only thing you added since your metering was the components and component amp correct? Then that will have no impact on your SPL score. How much air do you really think the components are displacing? ;)

I think you need the cover for your amp rack so that you only see the top of the amps i think it looks cleaner that way, here is a pic of my old install see how only the top is seen? I think it gives a much sleek apperance, but its just a suggestion though...

lol thats what i meant by that. im going to do it tommarow. im going to leave the sides and parts of the bottom open for good air flow. im also going to put a neon in there. yours looks very good!

hows that orion working out for you?

oh sorry man i guess i skipped over that part lol. Hey im speaking from experience i also reccomend you get 2 crossflow fans one to suck in air, and the other to push out the hot air. It gets pretty hot under the amp rack and my Viper started heating up untill i added to fans one on each side.

The Orion is awaiting an amp rack too lol, but about 300 amps of current isnt too friendly on my 180 amp alt.

Nice equipment, nice clean install. I would have put the tweeter further forward though.

i actually didnt even want to put the tweeter there. i wanted to put it higher up in the door but didnt have anything to a nice cut in the plastic with. so i just went with this.

thanx alot! i didnt realize the carpet kinda matches the subs. i just couldnt find any darker carpet.

i put purple velvet in the doors to add to the interior since it all black.

i finished with the install. i finally made the top part. i got to 15 in neons im going to put in 2marrow.

oh yeha on the db sheet the 144 was with the song "yeah" by usher. the second (146.5) song was a competition song.
