This just started recently, basically what happens is whever i first put my foot on the brake pedal (right when the taillights come on) my radio display kind of flashes off real quick and back on again. Any ideas what might be causing this? It's only brakes, turns signals or hazards don't effect it at all.
it only happens when the head unit is on, regardless of what source im listening to. I also noticed today when i turned my headlights on and off it kind of flickered, it dimmed like it should have but for about one second when i first turned them off it flickered then it was fine. starting to sound like a loose wire or something in the back maybe?

That's kinda what I was thinking. When you hit the brakes, the car leans forward and a loose connection is affected....but headlights should have nothing to do with that....
This could have something to do with your ground wires. Mine if i am going and put it in neutral my battery gauge drops.I put a bigger wire from alternator to battery and on from the negitive of the car to the chassis.
Hmm that could be it as well, I just upgraded to a HO alternator. Wire from the alternator to battery is now 4 gauge...maybe I need to upgrade the battery ground wire? Do our cars come stock with a 4 gauge ground or should I plan on getting one?
