Out of these two, what do you like better? List pros and cons for both... I am looking to buy a new one so if anyone has another one they like, let me know.

You realize the JVC is a DVD player correct? I think that's going to swing the decision one way or the other. I see that you don't currently have any other screens in your car. Plan on getting any soon? If so, the in-dash DVD player is a must. If not, skip it. You're really not going to watch movies on a 3" screen are you?
Oh and welcome to the world of Ebay! :D JVC Alpine

Yeah.. JVC doesn't have the greatest track record. I didn't even think they offered anything in the higher end market like that. Maybe they're trying to do a 180? Remember Audiobahn? They used to suck too ya know....
alpine over jvc, i wouldnt care if the alpine was alpines lowest model... I see JVC's come back one after another at my work.....They usually ahve some good features, but arent reliable, and dont have the sound quality of others..
I am more partial to the Alpine even though I have had JVC before and I was happy with it... but like a review i had read- B&W screen in an expensive headunit (even though the buttons can be customized). I might get the alpine cause i havent found anything else I have liked.
oh and no i wouldnt really be trying to watch movies on a 3inch screen (plus the layout is so lopsided) Thanks.
