I had a Ford Explorer do that. Except it was Factory wiring. THey ran the 12+ from the battery to the starter under the motor, from one side to the other in the engine bay and after 4 wheeling, it rubbed against the skidplate and caught it on fire.

I feel the same way 96. I don't care how "certified" some so called "Pro" is, I won't let them touch my car. I'm glad you didn't get hurt or that your car didn't completely go up in flames all together.Originally posted by 96firebird311:
