Hey yeah I have a 15 inch square sub squeezed into my F-Body. Does anyone know of a decinte amp i could get to power it? Its 2000W peak and 1000 RMS and because its dual voice coil I can run it at 2 or 4 ohms preferable 2. Thanks

A 2 or 4 ohm load? How is that possible with a single subwoofer?

    Psssst.... it's not. ;)

Your subwoofer has either dual 4 ohm coils or dual 2 ohm coils.
Dual 4 ohm would give you 2 or 8 ohm options.
Dual 2 ohm would give you 1 or 4 ohm options.

Also we need a ballpark budget for the amp.

What does this statement have to do with any particular amp?

96firebird does know car audio, I think tho, evan the newbies wouldn't paid $500 for an L7. Haha and I like how you say squeez it in, why wouldn't it fit? big tymer has 2 18's in his car so why would one 15 be a tight fit?

If i had $$ laying around, I would get like 3 Earthquake Sub zero 12's or a couple of the 15's.... I have the earthquake magma 15" for my house.... thinking of puting it in my car... it literly shakes the entire house ... its insane...

                          Hehehe gotta love that!

My 66mm of one way LINEAR Xmax is no slouch either... :D :D Just to compare, it would take exactly four 15" Alpine Type-R's to equal that kind of displacement!

you all need to chill out i only paid 250, but with everything else i did with it it ened up costing around 5. lay off. and i it was a tight squeeze cuz i put it where the t tops go so my car is still functional. And for all of you raggin on my sub, thats fine i am perfectly happy with it and could really care less about comparisons. Thanks :)
