how hard to install new window motor

I did mine today, its not hard its just time consuming.

Its even more time consuming if you have to drill out the rivets.

Before you do be sure to prop upthe window with a 2X4 so when you remove the motor it doesnt chop off you hand.

and a TIP when you do get the old one out, be sure to connect the new motor first and test it before you put it in, nothing is worst than getting a dead motor.

Ive done it twice, a 92 Camaro and a 96 firebird. Not to bad if your mechanicly inclined. The hardest part is putting everything back together, because since its located inside the door, you kinda have to feel your way around.

It's a pain man. If you can get a dealer to charge you 100 bucks to intall it, go for it. I took the whole assembly out to install mine, and it was still trouble. I tried following the walkthrough, but couldn't do it with it in the door.

IF you get a dealer to do it make sure they adjust the window so it shuts properly. When mt glass broke the new window in its full up position was like an inch below of where it should be. Those are a PITA to adjust too.
