Automatic Wipers?

I've searched the forums and came up with nothing....

Is there anyone who has put an automatic wiper sensor on their car or a kit or anyone knows how to convert ours to it?

A lot of GM vehicles have this already, figured there might be a way of making out cars have it. It's basically a little box that sits on your windshield and senses how much rain there is, then moves the wipers accordingly.

not sure why you would want to add ANOTHER thing to your car do go wrong..... so when the sensor screws up, your going down the road and the wipers are going and you cant stop them..... just use the .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000009 calories it takes to move ur left hand and turn it on...

Aren't they all automatic? I'm not sticking my hand out of my car wiping it off driving down the road. However I did have to do that once driving up 95 in the rain. My linkage broke and my drivers side was totally effed up. Steal a sensor off of a car from the junkyard and wire it in. *shrugs* what can it hurt?
