  • one blinker is on constant "brake" status

Well.. I don't know how better to explain this.
In there rear of my car there are 4 bulbs on each side. One for reverse, 3 tail lights, 2 of those get brighter w/ the brakes.
On the left side, the 2 that get brighter w/ the brakes are always at that brightness... I don't have tail lights on that side, just brake lights on all the time. The blinker still works fine, of course, if my tail lights are off, otherwise the rear won't blink since it is on "brake" all the time.
I tried buying new bulbs and it still does it... so what else can it be, short of a wiring problem? I don't even know where to begin to check the wiring.. they all look plugged in, thats all I know.

It sounds like you might have a short, or some crossed wires. If you need a schematic, I can see what I can find in my service manuals.

Fbody electronics sucks. My 92 Camaro had blinker trouble. The interior turn idicator got reversed. Passengers looked at me funny when I appeared to have my left blinker on, then I turned right.

I check to see if some wires were crossed together and there weren't any that I could see.. I am going to check the **** under the dash when I get my damn tools back.
