• no power to amp???

I went to my car at lunch today and noticed i had no bass... it was working on the way up to work.

Anyways i checked the connection to the battery, the fuse in the fuse holder, the connection to the amp. Then i switched to my other amp and wired that up... nothing.

No lights on the amp like its not getting power. wtf is going on?????????? i didnt pull my radio out yet but will in like a week to install new one.

Yes that is what someone suggested. No idea how it could have gotten loose really... Anyways the alpine came in the mail (beautiful even though its not powered on) and I cannot wait to do this saturday. Hope all is well.

Well if you have a meter, your amp should theorecially be getting power at all times. The remote wire is just another 12v signal to the relay to make it all juice up. I would see if you had power to the amp first then you could rule it being the remote wire.

Yeah, a meter will help you ID what's getting power and when, without having to tear things apart first.
