Alpine 9855 (no sound from subs???)

I installed the new headunit, plugged my RCAs into the SW output on the headunit (installed the Sony mono amp and yes its getting power this time)... but no sound coming from subs at all. I saw 2 switches on the underside of the headunit but I dont know if I should touch them...

Anyways the headunit is pretty nice looking but its got so many menus I get lost in them. I have to keep reading up on it but I wanna know why in the world I dont have any sound coming from my subs? My amp light is on (ran new RCAs and remote wire today) and well its not an issue with power like last week.

Maybe its something on the amp itself?

Speaker wires maybe, you have the rca's hooked up backwards? That should still make a sound but, I don't know.

If you're getting lost in the menus, chances are that the subwoofer output on the headunit could be turned off?

Hey i had it all ripped apart again today... ummm RCAs are fine, and the subwoofer menu says +4 and still no sound so i dont know... *cries* i will keep searching.
