  • Possible to put HIDs into fog lights?

Basically... I was thinking that if I put HIDs into my fog lights... I wouldn't have to worry about melting the light because HIDs run cool... also that would make them bright enough to be my headlights so I can leave everything else blacked out.

    What do you think?

hmm....well you couldnt use those as your headlights, they shine too low to the ground, and Im pretty sure at that height it's illegal, let alone the fact that its unsafe because other motorists wouldnt be able to see you, the car is low enough as it is....however the answer to your question is yes, you could put hid's into your fogs...to my knowledge they do not make a bulb that fits the 894 socket, so you'd be fabbin somthin up with a 9006 bulb most likely....this would require some epoxy or some kind of glue that wont melt back down and loosen up at higher temperatures....it would be jury rigged, but it would work....but still not recommended
