Got it delivered yesterday, seems pretty cool, tells me my 1/4 mile and 0-60 times. a little pissed tho cause i decided to test it out and with a real bad start and not a good finish i hit a 8.0 0-60???

They're accurate if used correctly, if you don't use it right, you might as well burn your money.

They appear to be accurate if you calibrate them right. My friend got one and he uses it in his Z06 and it matches what he does at the track.

The best way to see if it is accurate is to take it to the drag strip and see if it matches (with tolerances stated on their website) the track time.

yea they plug into the cigerette lighter and mount right under the rear view mirror. i went for a secind test run and pushed out a 7.49 0-60. better than my 8.0 before.....this is in appearance because the descriptions say that gauges should be posted here. this is somewhat of a gauge

gauges...? That means more of a white faced/indiglo gauges sort of question. this is more electronics.

Does it hook up to your speedo, or does it somehow tell how fast you are going some other way? In other words, if your speedo is off...not calibrated, would the G-tech give you false info?

I have it and it is pretty damn accurate! Ive tested out bunch of my friends cars and is a really good device to use . You have to calibrate it though and use it on flat streets . I use it on the side highway roads and its seems to give me accurate times. I love the G-tech pro.

yup, i love it to, expect the only thing i dont like is that its real real tough to keep horizontal, it needs to be flat in order to give an accurate reading.....it has nothing to do with the speedo, it fires a beam out the windshield onto the pavement and from that determines ur acceleration at any given point....yea what times are u guys gettng with ur meters?
