• What's this system worth?

A buddy of mine recently bought a 97 Trans Am with a (mostly) complete custom stereo set-up. The head unit is stock, but all of the speakers are aftermarket and it has two amps, two 12-inch subs, a DVD player (no screen), and footwell speakers (I think 5.5 inch) in special enclosures up front. The subs and amps are in a custom display/enclosure in the trunk. I'm not sure on brands, he's getting me that info ASAP. He's interested in selling everything except the speakers that replaced the stock ones. Any SWAGs (Silly, Wild-Assed Guesses) as to what the whole set-up might be worth to an F-body owner? Also, where can he go to get something like that appraised?

Well, I'd imagine the people here could appraise it approximately, but we need a lot more information than that.

I can find a 12" sub that costs $50. I can find a 12" sub that costs $500. I can buy an amp for $40. I can buy an amp for $1200. There's too much wiggle room to say without makes and models...
    \'00 f-bird 3.8 M5 coupe, pewter metallic
Torsen LSD, Pro 5.0 shifter, Spec stage 1 clutch, Y87 muffler, aftermarket stereo
-more fun than the Oldsmobile it replaced...

That's sort of what I figured. I'll get the info and post it ASAP.
