yeah u have to get an adapter to plug into the back. you have to do this with allllll car stereos that are aftermarket. go up to best buy , walk to the the place where they install the stereo and they will sell u one for 15 bux.

Sounds like you guys hacked that stereo up pretty good. Why would you make an RCA Adaptor, if your head unit was made in the last 10 years, you should have RCA preouts on it. Just run a 14' rca cable from the front to back, then your subs will work just fine with alot less distortion than trying to run it off of regular wires and changing it to an RCA jack. As far as the compontents, are you sure they are hooked up right? Something very simple is probably just being overlooked, make sure all positives go to positive and negatives to negatives. I have the Bose system in my 95 Camaro, but I never felt the need to upgrade it, so mine's stock. You might wanna check with the guys a little more knowledgeable than I, since there may be an OHM difference involved, 8 ohms seems to come to mind for some reason. Well... ya got one solution
