Yes...my 12's arent that great though. They are Kicker C12 that only handle 150rms. Dont get me wrong, on some songs they hit really hard and sound great, but they just cant hit the low or the high frequencies.1998 Camaro V6 \"Black Mamba\"
Y87
Whisper Lid w/ K&N filter
Flowmaster American Thunder
Numerous appearance mods.
Car Domain

what kind of box do you have? box design can greatly influence how the speaker sounds, maybe you box is giving you a big flat spot. is it seal or ported? are the subs sealed up really good to their mounting surface?
what kind of amp are you using? are you using a low pass filter(LPF) on the amp or the head unit? if not, try it.2002 35th Anniv. i personally wouldnt run to different size subwoofers...i was told just to run the same size and get good subwoofers and you can hit hard as long as you have the right stuff....if you have a sealed box you probanbly wont hit low frequencies...i know their was a huge difference when i had a new box made that was ported..it started hitting lower and harder because your moving more air....i have one subwoofer right now and i've had people say "this hits harder then my 2 i have in my car"....so more sub's dosent mean its going to hit harder if you have the right stuff

if im not mistaken sealed boxes are the ones that go lower not ported.2002 35th Anniv. It just doesnt sound good. I'm using a dual MTX box. 1.0 cubit feet for each sub. Sealed. As far as how the subs are sealed on the box, there's like 8 screws holding each sub in so, I dont know. My amp is a Pioneer 800watt mono, and yes, both my amp and my head unit have a LPF and yes I am attempting to use it. What should It be set to?1998 Camaro V6 \"Black Mamba\"
Y87
Whisper Lid w/ K&N filter
Flowmaster American Thunder
Numerous appearance mods.
Car Domain

rock songs are hard on subs, the sudden drum snaps can easily make them bottom more than usual. maybe try running a bead of silicone around them to seal them up. theres no sense in using both lpf. id turn the on on the amp all the way up and try setting the one on the head unit to 80hz.2002 35th Anniv.
