I just got my Viper alarm installed yesterday and the install was really good, but the antenna is mounted at the top of the windshield by the mirror pointed down, so it looks a little odd.
Will I lose much range on my remote if I move it? I'm thinking about just sticking it inside the headliner, but I don't want to peel it off without knowing if it works well first.
they did that to my viper alarm when it got installed and I hated it. I told them to move it but they wanted like a nother 20 bucks to do it so I just told them to **** off and left. So when I got home I removed the kicker pannel under the driver side and mounted it to the lil 'V' shaped bracket under the stearing colum with some zip ties. And it works just fine to me plus I didn't see any noticeable loss in the remote distance.
