How big of AMP do I need?

How big of an amp do I need to power 2 12 Inch Pioneer IMPP's? They are brand new subs. I currently have a 200 watt fosgate amp. But Will the subs hit harder if I get a bigger amp?

Those subs are rated for 300RMS each, or 400RMS if you've got the one with the black cone instead of silver. I can't imagine a 200watt amp pushing those very well, unless that's 200RMS per sub. In that case it might be pretty decent.

The subs should get louder with more power. The question is, do you want it louder? If so, i'd say pick up a JBL BP600.1 and wire the subs in parallel so you'll have the full 300RMS each going to them.

Ummm maybe its me but i think that those IMPP's are P.O.S's ! Maybe you should take them back and get your money back! Just go buy a 4 channel 400watt amp. Easy just like that
