Hello, I just got my system in the Maro yesterday, nothing special...memphis 12" 1000w amp...sounds pretty good though, my question is there are hardly any rattles on the inside of the car but on the outside you can hear the hatch/ spoiler rattling..its not HORRIBLE like the honda guys who put 15's in there trunk and you hear the rattle over the bass lol...I was wondering is there anything to cut down on the vibrations/ rattling of the hatch/wing? Any other spots on the inside that are known to rattle? Thanks.

FAT MAT- just like dynamat but way cheaper and works good... ebay it..
or buy the expanding foam in a can.. and try and spray that in area's that are rattling and let it foam up and seal .
I did that around the spare tire, my bass was constantly spinning parts loose and it rattled pretty bad.. not anymore.
and Memphis 12" with a memphis amp?.. .thats nothin special?...
Memphis IMO is one of the best.*Matt

Thanks for the replys guys...I just HATE hearing cars with trunk rattle that have like...two 15" L7's and all you hear is trunk rattle...its just ewww lol...my hatch/wing does it a little ***** and I just wanna eliminate or cut down on the rattle sound from the outside of the car ...the only thing I want people to hear is the bass if my windows are down
So would it be my best bet to dynamat the rear by behind the tail lights, spare tire? basically back there...and then remove the panel from the bottom of the hatch and dynamat in there? im guessing that would make a big difference? worth it?
Thanks guys!\'98 Camaro

i had a big problem with rattles when i i1st got my stereo.
sound deadener is definately your friend. you can stick it between things that vibrate or just line whole body parts with it.
i have about 100 sq ft of edead in my car($1 a sq ft direct from eD) heres where i put it:
The whole hatch from the seat back 2 layers
the plastic panels in the hatch 1 layer
pulled the taillights our and put it underneath them where they touch the car 1 layer
the panel that says camaro pulled it and put 1 layer on
the doors 1 layer.
this helped out alot. i still have a few but not really noticable ones. youll always hear more when it cold out then when its warm.
elemental has a foam sound deadener now you might want to check out. could come in handy for the doors and hatch. starts at $2 a sq ft.<a href=\"http://cardomain.com/id/articacid\" target=\"_blank\">2002 35th Anniv.
