  • thinking up a stock looking system, need help

first i just want to apologize if this has been gone over before, i searched a bunch and came up with some answers but still have questions.

    anyway

i have a base 95 camaro, with the standard sound package (no bose, no monsoon)

i do however have hatch panels with speakers (bought the car without a spare tire cover, found a set of matching left and right with speaks at a junkyard for only $20 and jumped on it)

now, ive decided i'd rather not have a sub in the back since i cant afford it nor do i really want it (i just want something thats nicer than stock but nothing that pumps out crazy bass)

so far ive only been able to come up with speakers to use:

eu-700s for the sail panels and either edi6000s or the aplines everyone reccomends for the front.

now, im up in the air as to wether or not the hatch speakers are worth it.

currently i have an aiwa cdc-x504 (came with the car when i bought it)

this is where im stuck. what kind of amping do i need to do, and whats relatively cheap.

ive considered the monsoon amp since its cheap and has all the chanels necessary but im sure theres better.

    any help is appreciated, thanks

I'd get rid of the rear speakers. In my Camaro, when I was setting everything up, I had all the speakers working and it didn't do anything but move the sound stage waaaaaaay back. Right now I'm just running JLs in the door and next to the seats and it sounds great.

my car didnt have the rear speakers in the hatch, so i ordered new panels about a month ago, replaced them with the speaker panels and put matching speakers in and wired them in series with my backseat speakers.. it made a difference and if you ever working on your car and open the hatch to listen to music it sounds great.
