Want to upgrade my sound system

Now to start off, I know jack **** about sound systems, stereos, amps, speakers , subs and boxes etc... All I want is a little more kick and better sound in my car. All I have now is a $150 Panasonic CD player going through stock speakers. Can I just upgrade the speakers or something? I want this too cost below $200. What are my options?

yea id say get a nice set of components for the back and a set of nice speakers for the front. thatll be under 200 and sound a lot better than what you got now in my opinion, cuz you dont got enough for a sub setup with under 200.

i think if u like the way the speakers sound now, and you only have 200 dollars to play with.. id leave your stock speakers in and get a bass tube.. that would be under 200 dollars cuz a new set of components wont really give you much more then clarity and they get louder..

a bass tube wont give you much bass but ive heard them in camaros and it really doesnt sound bad.
