Unless your looking to spend a fortune on something top of the line, I would recommend the JVC KD-SX980. It looks cool, works great, and best of all, it's under $200! I've had mine for about 5 months and haven't had any problems with it.

The only mp3 player I've ever heard in a vehicle was a Kenwood unit of some sort. It was awesome.

I second Big Tymer's comment on the Aiwa mp3 deck. It has a number of problems, or at least mine does. After about 2-3 hours of use it will over heat, and stop playing mp3 tracks. The other serious problem is kind of hard to explain. The problem seems to come and go, usually happens the warmer the deck is. When a track starts, you hear some sort of a blipp, then the track starts, after a second or two, there is a blank pause, and the song continues on. Plus, it likes to skip when I hit some bumps.

As far as I know these problems have not been fixed by Aiwa. My little brother tried to stick two CDs into the deck at the same time. Luckly I purchased the extended warrantee, and got a new replacement deck for free. I was hoping that it would have had updated firmware or something to fix the problames, but it didn't. So stay away from the Aiwa mp3 deck would be me advice.
