i just got some polk 6-3/4" speakers for the rear of my 1995 camaro (without bose system, hatchback), because crutchfield said they would fit. turns out the holes for the screws do not line up, and i cannot find a speaker adapter bracket online. it seems that the stock rear speakers were bigger, does anyone know what size they are? that would help me find a bracket. has anyone else run into this problem, and how did you get past it? build your own? that seems like a pain in the *** to me im just trying to mount my speakers up. thanks, this is real frustrating.

The stock size IS indeed 6 3/4" though. GM just screwed us all and decided to get nuts on their mounting design.

^I've seen careless people with drills/drivers too often. Buddy tried screwing his sub into a box and forced the drill right off the screw head. Punched an extra hole in that Punch sub.\'98 Camaro V6
Appearance... pleasing
Performance... just a little extra air.
