      Possibly on a related note, my amp thumps quite a bit when changing a station. Its never donw this with any of my past systems. Sony CDX-M650 headunit. Any ideas?

        Well mine does that also...I’ve tried everything...gold connections everywhere, bigger ground wire different grounds, better rca cables, different grounds on the hu but then my buddy said that it’s the rca outputs on the cd player something about a ground in the rca…. well I didn’t believe him about that but I went and tried everything the local audio guy said to do so I’m guessing he is right…only does it with the rca’s so I guess its got to be them….anyway its only a pita problem I’m going to get rid of the hu asap as soon as my jeep is done

          i had bad t.o. thump on my last radio.. it had a bad ground on the rca on the actual HU.. I took it out, and took a 18ga. wire.. grounded one end to the metal. and then took the other end and touch each RCA to see if thats the problem. If you find that grounded one of the rca outputs helped then solder it to the base the best you can..
          thats what i did and it actually did the job:)

            yea i have a lil tiny pop when i turn my system off. ive double checked everything idk what it could be. im gunna try messing around with it later too.

              Yeah, it drove me nuts.. but ive never heard of an amp delay module.. id call a sound shop other than best buy or circuit city, their retards ;) haha

                  nah. i messed around a little with my filters and it helped some, but i still have a tiny lil pop.
