the stock amp is located near the spare tire (in there somewhere, it's black so it's kind of hard to find).
you can run aftermarket speakers off of it, but check the ohm ratings so that they don't sound to crappy with the amp. Best bet is to run the aftermarket speakers off of a new amp. I've heard that Infinity Kappa speakers sound pretty nice on the stock amp though.

could you replace that amp and make the factory momsoon speakers sound better?no fate but what we make
http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/748167/1

the stock ohm ratings are 2 ohms if i'm not mistaken

yeah, you'll most likely end up blowing them
though if you amplify the stock speakers though.
solve all solution is to get some aftermarket speakers if you want it to sound better. most likely they'll be 4 ohm speakers (So they'll only be running half power), but if you plan on amplifying them with an aftermarket amp (not the monsoon one), you'd be 'planning ahead'
