I have two 12" infiniti's and an alpine 600w v12 amp all hooked up to a sony flip down head unit. My problem is this...I think that the sound is going to the subs so they aren't "bumping" if you will. This thing should have a ton of bass but it doesn't seem to be hitting hard. where should I have the frequencies set at? is there something on the amp I can adjust so it hits harder? my subs are just doing a TON of consecutive hits instead of the big loud hits. any ideas?
thanks
Did you recheck the sub wiring? If they are wired opposite to each other, the will destructively interfer with each others output, and you will see a decrease in the volume and quality of sound.
Do you have the gains set properly, and any crossovers set correctly? If you tell us how you have everything setup, it might be easier to see your error.
