has anyone here hard wired their ipod? i have the NONmonsoon headunit, but it has what looks like the cd changer port on the back. is it possible to use one of the ipod2car things to hook it up? or do i have to have the monsoon system? basically, does anyone have a cd changer in their trunk without having the monsoon system?

i dont think from factory.. but you can get an FM Modulator and it will hook up through the antenna on the back of the radio for a cd changer or ipod etc...
it doesnt sound the greatest, it will always sound like your just listening to an FM station and never cd quality..
if you were to buy an aftermarket radio, yes.
you can buy a pbus cable to hook up to the satellite radio connection that will go to a set of RCA's .. and buy a cable to go from RCA's to a 8mm headphone jack.*Matt

i got one of the fm transmitters, and whenever the music was quiet, i suffered through a lot of static and noise, thought it was just because it was an fm transmitter. then i tuned to a different station, and its crystal clear!2002 SOM Camaro- Sold
