My WHOLE car is sound deadened and my hatch still rattles. What tends to rattle a lot is the actual wing and the panel in the back where it says CAMARO.

IF you can tighten upyour wing and that panel it will cut down the rattles.

What im going to do tomorrow is get some of that foam stuff that comes in the can and im going to fill up the whole inside of my hatch with it that way it will stiffen up and rattle less.

yea i was thinkin about getting that stuff, its called poly fill i think. it was recommended to fill my sub box 50% with it.

Polyfill very similar to the stuffing in a pillow. Camarowidbass is refering to expanding foam. Two completely different things. Caution should be exercised when using expandable foam. Once it starts expanding NOTHING is going to stop it. It will blow those plastic pop rivets right out if you use too much. Also, try not to get it anywhere visable. Where ever this stuff goes, it's there to stay.

i was thinking about using dynamat and stuffing some inside panels with polyfill to help absorb the sound, would this work?

poly fill NOT stop rattles, you use poly fill to fool the sub into thinking its in a bigger box, but thats about it.

I used expandable foam to fill all the space in the hatch....that eliminated all the rattles I had.
