Well, I've been having problems with my battery voltage dropping when my bass hits REALLY bad when my car is at a stop, but not so bad with the RPMs up cause the alternator picked up the slack I'm guessing.
Anyway.
I got a 1.7 farad digital cap and let me tell you... WOW!!! NO VOLTAGE DROP AT ALL! My stereo sounds even BETTER and more crisp when I turn it up hella loud... damn it's like a Night and Day difference...

You had voltage drop
I went through a battery and 2 alt's.( thank god they both had warranties )
After that i got second battery in trunk ( optima yellow top)
and a 6 farad cap ( thing weighs like 30 pounds!! )

That's why I'm a firm believer in caps. A lot of ppl will say they are worthless. But that is their opinions. I just know I will always use on in my systems.
