What do y'all think about the Pioneer 8400mp headunit? I am thinking about getting this for my car,and do you recommend the pioneer speakers or the infinity kappas with an external amp?

depends on what you are planning on doing with it.
if you are looking to put a mid to high end system, it should be OK.
if you are just looking for a good system, its prolly overkill, esp. if you dont plan on using a 4 ch. amp for the speakers and another mono or 2ch. amp for subs.Comment

OUCH! Too much. For that price you could get the Pioneer Premier 940MP....which blows away the 8500. I would know! I owned both! :DComment

It's cool man but 500 is a bit much, I got mine when it was blazing and I think I paid a little more than that, but like I said that was in April. Thank you all for your replies, but I am going to hold off on the stereo until after christmas because I am still trying to work on my suspenion upgrades.
