Its the vr202 crossfires. 2 - 12" subs in a box, with the 200w amp. Is this system worth $250, 1 owner used?
I could probably find a better deal on ebay.
The system is so low wattage, which is probably a good thing right? less power usage, and good DB.
DB has no correlation to wattage, right?
(like more wattage doesnt always mean more DB, when comparing 2 different systems)??
Originally posted by zlexiss: DB = wattage * efficiency (in rough math), so yes, it's not a one to one comparison.
No. Not even remotely close. SO much more goes into SPL it's not even funny.
Crossfire makes decent stuff... but more info on the subs. Are they crossfire as well? Model number? More info about the box as well. Is it custom built for the f-bodies? Then how are you going the use it? And even though it may have only had 1 owner.... he could have beat the hell out of them for years. The amp is going for $123.77+$15 s/h brand new off Ebay.... so your $250 deal is sounding a little high...but not a total rip off just yet.
I know I'm not accounting for everything. The car it's in, speaker location, box build and porting. I just wanted to give a rough equation that two speakers in the exact same situation (same box, location, car, amp) will have different properties, including dynamic range and SPL output.

Haven’t done anything on the Camaro, but put LEDs on my truck headlights . And my oil pressure sensor went out on the truck so going to fix that this...
