Dynamat is good stuff, I've got it in my doors (soon to be entire door if I can ever get the damn door panel of) and mids. Your tag might be rattling too.

ive got 2 12s in my trunk, and i did dynomat it, but ive noticed that the tail-light fixture is starting to rattle a bit so u might want to look into that. all peoples trunks rattle if the subs take up the entire trunk, its normal

Dynomat will work but is WAYYY overpriced. There are a few brands just like it. Some even better and for less cash. Try raammat60. Look for it on Ebay or order it off the webpage. Actually..... I have just the link for you!!! http://www.termpro.com/cgi-bin/ubb/u...;f=40;t=008863

That should take care of this topic!! :D

you pretty much can't stop the trunk from rattling (the spoiler and everything) because it's not sealed completely around. Basically there are like 3 points holding it down, so you have the moveability factor around the rest of the thing.

even the spoiler on my friend's 98 mustang rattles like crazy, but there's no way to fix that either

The best way I have found is to turn up your system.... get out of your car.... and look, listen, and feel where the noise is coming from. Then wedge something in there to keep it from moving back and forth (rattling). Use the sound deadeners to reduce road noise.

I did dynamat, it worked for the inside. What helped was taking spray foam and foaming the interior of the rear spoiler, it tends to rattle the most out of everything.

cheap fix for rattling alot of the time....

tighten the wingnuts on your taillights. alot of the time they come really loose from the factory, its probably not the only thing rattling but it helps.

When I first put my system in my Camaro, I found the hatch sounded like it was gonna fall off. I turned the rubber twisty things out a bit (they're on the underside of the hatch), which created more pressure on the latch which caused it to stop rattleing. My tail lights still rattle though. One of these days I'll get around to tightening the wingnuts down. Weather stripping on the back of the license plate works wonders to.

Check out the third page of my sig. I spent LOTS of time fixing the rattles in my '97 Convertible. I took pics of what I did and posted them on the sig.
