does the milhouse box sound as good when it's "closed" with the subs facing down into the trunk well as compared to boxes that have the subs firing up at the hatch glass?

Hey Check this out, Ive got one 12" sub firing towards the rear of the car and it pounds the hell out of most other systems. Ive also found that if they face the hatch like others have said, the sound sucks. what you need to think about is the size of your subs how much power is being put to them and how they are made. est way to do it is to power them as much as they can handle, meaning run them at their reccomended RMS power (ex. if they require 150 RMS at regular times). But make sure that the amp doesnt over max them when there is a major burst of power in the music(ex. if mam rating is 550 dont put 600 to them). Try macing them towards the rear if they will fit that way. I had to build a custom box for mine to fit.
